Introduction
The abilities of human capital remain raw unless correctly developed and managed. The suitable and up-to-date educational facilities polish the academic skills of human beings. Balochistan’s province has become the richest of all areas of Pakistan in terms of its undiscovered mineral resources. Still, it remains the poorest in a period of its managerial help and skilled human power.
Industrial development is taking place at an accelerated rate in Pakistan. In contrast, the province of Balochistan requires special attention compared to other regions of Pakistan to explore its industrial potential and accelerate its economic development. But the pace of industrial and economic development needs the supporting hands of qualified managers, trained managerial human resources, insight into research work and excellent expertise in planning areas in the public and private sectors.
Mir Chakar Khan Rind University is the first HEC-recognized university established in 2019 in Sibi. This university will provide equal opportunities to the students of Sibi and Naseerabad division in particular and the Balochistan province, in general, to acquire higher education in a conducive environment and empower them to lead an enlightened and modern society. The university hopefully will become a centre of knowledge sharing and Research culture, accelerating the speed of Pakistan’s economic development.
By considering the need for well-organized resource-utilization, effective resource management, enrichment of administrative ability, and enhancement of managerial talents in Balochistan, the Mir Chakar Khan Rind University, Sibi has established the Department of Management Sciences after its establishment in 2019.
In changing and emerging societies, management sciences play a dynamic role in the process of planned social change and economic development. The Department of Management Sciences (DMS) intention is to create human resources with high talents and intelligence to contribute productively towards the economic growth of Baluchistan in particular, whereas Pakistan in general.

Mir Chakar Khan Rind University started the Department of Management sciences (DMS) under tis vision and mission aimed to provide programs which covers the fields of business, management and entrepreneurship. The department offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate management programs, including the BBA with elective specializations in marketing, finance, and human resource management, the MBA evening program for professionals, and the MS program with specializations in marketing, finance, and human resource management. We also offer diploma and certificate program in addition to these degree. The faculty at DMS is extremely skilled and knowledgeable, and they have important publications to their name.
As chairman, I am truly committed to develop, preserve, and improve a climate that supports the learning and development of all students, professors, and administrative personnel. At the initial stages of the department we have three PhD doctors, 6 faculties including 2 perusing their PhD in the field to serve in near future. With qualified team we focus on updated techniques of teaching, collaborative learning, working to improve teaching methodologies with continuous training and enhancing faculty communication skills, emphasis on interactive lecturing, critical thinking, project based learning and group based learning using technology aimed to digitalize the classrooms. A BSBA is a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration; this four-year degree program provides students with a fundamental education in business and management principles. Bachelor of Science in Business Administration typically allow students to specialize in one of several areas of concentration, including marketing, finance, management, human resource management, mathematics or accounting. Through BSBA courses, students can gain knowledge of business practices and processes, acquire an awareness of global business issues, and develop an understanding of the role of economics in the world marketplace. Program of study For the award of degree in Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA), a student must have:
- Must Obtain 45% at least marks in Intermediate to be eligible for admission.
- Must have obtained 50% at least marks in the entrance test. The Mir Chakar Khan Rind University will conduct the entry test and Sibi admission committee on the scheduled date.

The Pedagogy:
Diverting from traditional teaching methods, the Department of Management Sciences follows the latest approach to teaching-learning that includes a blend of lectures, group work, seminars, workshops, presentations, projects, case studies, market surveys, and business visits. Assessment of the student is based on the course work and examination performance.
Computer Facilities:
A Computer laboratory is equipped with the latest version of a computer having internet and latest software facilities.
Central Library:
A library has a large collection of the latest books, research journals and magazines. The students also get day-to-day information by reading English and Urdu newspapers.
Audio Visual Aids:
All seminar rooms are equipped with all the modern facilities, Including slides, an overhead projector, and multimedia for delivering classroom lectures and guest extension lectures.
Auditorium:
The University auditorium is equipped with a sound system and multimedia, with a capacity to seat more than 200 people. It is suitable for extension lecture cultural shows, plays and media presentations. The auditorium has adequate lighting and low maintenance.
Cafeteria:
MCKRU always tries to provide an accommodative environment for the students and has provided a place for students to get relax and eat. The department cafeteria is where students enjoy tea, soft drinks, and meals and develop social interaction in their free time. It also provides them with a clean and friendly environment where they go and discuss academic and social issues with fellow students.
Prayers Area:
An elegant mosque has been constructed with all necessary arrangements of ablution and prayer for students and staff. All the necessary measures are being taken for the offering of prayers and the true accomplishment of the Islamic teachings.
Gaming Zone:
The Gaming Zone is dedicated to exploring games as a creative practice. These activities are experiences that entertain the students and help to communicate thoughtful ideas. Further work is being under process on facilitating the Gaming Zone to meet student demands and interests.
