The abilities of human capital remain raw unless correctly developed and managed. The suitable and up-to-date educational facilities polish the academic skills of human beings. Balochistan’s province has become the richest of all areas of Pakistan in terms of its undiscovered mineral resources. Still, it remains the poorest in a period of its managerial help and skilled human power.

Industrial development is taking place at an accelerated rate in Pakistan. In contrast, the province of Balochistan requires special attention compared to other regions of Pakistan to explore its industrial potential and accelerate its economic development. But the pace of industrial and economic development needs the supporting hands of qualified managers, trained managerial human resources, insight into research work and excellent expertise in planning areas in the public and private sectors.

Mir Chakar Khan Rind University is the first HEC-recognized University established in 2019 in Sibi. This university will provide equal opportunities to the students of Sibi and Naseerabad division in particular and the Balochistan province, in general, to acquire higher education in a conducive environment and empower them to lead an enlightened and modern society. The university hopefully will become a Centre of knowledge sharing and Research culture, accelerating the speed of Pakistan’s economic development.

By considering the need for well-organized resource-utilization, effective resource management, enrichment of administrative ability, and enhancement of managerial talents in Balochistan, the Mir Chakar Khan Rind University, Sibi has established the Department of Management Sciences after its establishment in 2019.

In changing and emerging societies, management sciences play a dynamic role in the process of planned social change and economic development. The Department of Management Sciences (DMS) intention is to create human resources with high talents and intelligence to contribute productively towards the economic growth of Baluchistan in particular, whereas Pakistan in general.
