Vice Chancellor, Mir Chakar Khan Rind university Sibi (MCKRU) Prof. Dr. Qadar Bakhsh Baloch had a productive call on meeting with Chairman Higher Education Commission, Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed at HEC office Islamabad on Friday 4, 2023. They engaged in a very productive and exciting discussion on various avenues of development of MCKRU. The discussion was a wide ranging including financial support in recurring budget, promoting research culture, faculty development and faculty incentives to attract quality faculty to serve in Sibi, students scholarships, budgeting and dependent constraints and socio-economic uplift of the marginalised region of the Balochistan, particularly to Sibi region. Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, Chairman HEC, expressed his determined resolve to extend all out support to strenghten university’s academic and logistic infrastructure. Dr. Mukhtar assured the Vice Chancellor that he and his team is always on a call distance to respond and help out the university to overcome all of its challenges. Chairman posed his complete trust and confidence on the ability and competency of the Vice Chancellor and his team to steer MCKRU in prevailing economic constraints and come out with the remarkable successes soon. He retrieted his committment to support MCKRU in all kind of matters. Vice Chancellor MCKRU invited Chairman HEC for visit to MCKRU which he accepted wholeheartedly, and promised accordingly.
